Big Spenders

This is where you want to be, this is where you want to advertise.

The Biggest Advertiser section on EntreCard.

Why? These are the bloggers who are most interested in driving traffic to their site, a site you want to appear on to send traffic to yours.

By being a member of the Biggest Advertiser section you make your blog more visible to other EntreCard members. More visible = more traffic & higher ad income. Now that the EntreCard tax has been reduced from 75% to 50%, you double what you have earned from the ad price! And you can plough these credits back into more advertising.

Which is why you use EnterCard in the first place!

How about you? Do you follow a similar tactic with your advertising? Or do you have a different style? Please share.

I advertise too for several thousand ECs daily with my five blogs but i really diversify the ads.

If i just buy ads for 2 ECs i know i won't get many clicks. If you look at the Popularity number you can see that most of the blogs in this price range have less than 20 visitors in a five day range from EntreCard member. That means for each day only up to 4 visitors will come and drop their card. I can only expect 4 visitors.

If i advertise on a blog which costs 64 or 128 i can usually expect that they get daily between 100 and 200 visitors and i get usually up to 50 clicks from some of these blogs per day.

So, i look at first at the popularity points (visitors of the last 5 days) if they are not more than tenfold the EC-price i don't buy the ad (that means 2 EC - 20 points, 4 EC - 40 points, 8 EC - 80 points and so on, only for ad prices above 128 EC this rule is no more practical there i buy just a few of the most popular ones)
